Oil Change Procedure
- Park the vehicle on a level surface.
- Allow the engine to warm slightly, then switch it off.
- Engage the parking brake and safely raise the vehicle if required.
- Remove the lower engine cover where equipped.
- Position a drain pan beneath the oil pan.
- Remove the drain plug and allow the used oil to drain completely.
- Remove the oil filter housing cap and used cartridge filter.
- Remove the old filter housing O-ring.
- Lubricate the new O-ring lightly with fresh engine oil.
- Install the new filter and O-ring in their correct positions.
- Tighten the filter housing cap to the manufacturer’s specification.
- Install the replacement drain plug and sealing washer.
- Add approximately five liters of fresh engine oil.
- Start the engine briefly and inspect for leaks.
- Switch the engine off and wait several minutes.
- Check the oil level and add oil gradually as required.
- Reinstall the lower engine cover.
- Reset the oil service reminder.
Should All Six Liters Be Used?
No. Six liters are supplied to cover the compatible applications, but the exact refill capacity varies by engine and vehicle.
Begin with approximately five liters and check the level before adding more. Overfilling can result in oil aeration, excessive crankcase pressure, leaks, or catalytic-converter damage.
Filter Compatibility
The included Hengst E19H D83 filter corresponds to Volkswagen reference 071115562C. Because this filter is used in several gasoline and diesel applications, the filter reference alone does not confirm complete kit compatibility.

Do not use this kit in a diesel vehicle equipped with a diesel particulate filter that requires VW 507 00 low-SAPS oil. Molygen New Generation 5W-40 is not a replacement for VW 507 00-approved oil.
